If you’re new to Internet Marketing you might not have a good grasp on what PLR is. It stands for Private Label Rights
Think of it as something that is created for you that you can put your own “label” on. This term is used widely in retail for when manufacturers will place the name of different companies on their product for a fee so they can sell it as their own.
In internet marketing those who write PLR products will often sell you the rights to put your name on that product. You have the freedom to change it around in any way, shape, or form and slap your name on it as the author.
This is commonly done with articles and ebooks
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Why Should I Buy PLR?
It saves you a lot of time and energy. It can take a while to thoroughly research and write a good article, report, or ebook. When you buy PLR the work is already done for you.
2. It is expensive?
PLR is generally a LOT less expensive than getting an article written for you from scratch. For example, instead of paying $150 for a 10 article pack you would only pay something like $20 or $15 for a 10 article pack…or less!
3. Does this mean that everyone would use the same stuff?
Well, you’re supposed to change PLR pretty significantly before using it. The author will generally restrict sales of the content to a limited number which lowers how often it will be used. That means higher prices because the buyers are paying for the unprivileged. If you find extremely cheap PLR then it will generally be more saturated on the market if it isunrestricted.
4. What can I do with it?
Usually anything! As long as you change it enough and put your name on it you can sell it as an ebook, articles, put it on your blog, use it in e-mails etc. It is yours to do with what you want.
5. Can I make money with PLR?
Yes! You can definitely make money with it. Think about it, most of the work is done for you. You don’t have to spend time researching.
Let me know if you guys have anymore questions about PLR. I’m going to go more in depth about it in future posts with ways to change it, how to make it unique, what kind of PLR to buy, and more!
