A Billion Eggs in a Billion Baskets?

March 8th, 2008 by admin

Ok, so you’ve probably heard that you’re not supposed to put all your eggs in one basket in  your online business.  Well, if you’re like me then you have too many projects going on at once. I’m going to call myself out…here are the things I should have done already:

1. Flipped my site (it’s not even done)

2. Written the salesletter to sell my niche ebook as PLR

3. Dived in deeper to my Teaching Sells Course

4.  Built more Virtual Real Estate Sites per my JD Swanson challenge

So, I think I’m doing too much.  I do subscribe to Dennis Becker’s $5 bucks a day method…but I apparently don’t follow through with it.  That’s what I need to do before I implode!

Think about this with your own online business.  If you are trying to do too much, and are juggling too many eggs, what can you prioritze to do first?

Here is my list:

1.  Flip my site

2. Dive in deeper with my membership site

3. Work on VRE

4. Sell PLR package

I’m off to bed.  A long day ghostwriting from 8 am to 12 am.  :(

I sooo hear you, Jen. I have about 8 projects on the go at once, with none of them finished. Currently creating a product with another marketer and have been writing for so long, my eyes are burning. I think I’ll hit the sack too.

Ohhh, I know how those burning eyes go! If I can just get one things done…

    LOL

I know the feeling so well, Jenn! I’ve come to the conclusion, though, that it just doesn’t work for me if I don’t have a whole bunch of things going on. I get bored if I have to work on just one thing (like my paying, client-driven work :) ). These days, I aim to work on at least one thing that’s “mine” each day. Looking back over the past few years, this seems to work for me - it’s just slower!

Thanks Belle! That is a good philosophy to have. It is important to work for ourselves too :)

And, LOL I just read my last comment and it looks like a 1st grader typed it…I must have been tired ;)
