I’ve made the decision to totally separate this blog and my other blog as some of the themes started to overlap. This blog will be dedicated only to writing topics, and marketing information and tips can be found at Work at Home for Moms.

I think this will work out best because some of you are not interested in writing and some of you are only interested in writing.  Those of you who straddle both Internet marketing and writing can just read both blogs :-P

Thanks so much for your support. Wow!  I can’t believe that it’s been almost a year since I started my online journey. It’s funny to go back and read my posts from last fall. I’ve come a long way if I do say so myself!

I love article databases and writing, so I thought…why not start my own! I found a really great article writing script called Article Friendly and a guy name Jan (who wrote the progam) who installed it for me and everything. It’s a baby article directory right now, but I hope it grows in size and popularity. If you’re interested in becoming an author for my directory, hop on over to Article Database Online

You can sign up to be an author and submit anything you’d like. The cool thing is, I’m accepting affiliate links in the author’s resource box, and these articles are viral, meaning others can copy and past them WITH your resource box so that your information and website really gets out there into the world. I used Site Rubix to create my site, and I had purchased a domain name. I finally got it figured out to upload the site. Ok, great. Then I made some changes with photos and such and went to upload it again. The updated version with the new photos will NOT show up. No matter what I do. The files seem to be in the right place and everything is in order…I think I’m just ranting because i’m burned out on trying to fix it. There are many things that go along with websites that are a big headache. I’m just lucky that I had Site Rubix to create the website in the first place. THAT took about a half hour. If only it was all that easy ;) I will try my hand again tomorrow at uploading the updates for my niche site.
