When I say it I am of course thinking about how easily writing comes to me weighed with the demand of web content. There is such demand out there that I’m almost certain there is room for loads more freelancers on the web.

I sat down to write a short report for my friends about how to start doing what I’m doing. These are all very educated people who are good writers so I KNOW they can do it and be very successful. But, if everyone can do it, then why don’t they?

Well, the answer that pops into my head is that it can be *boring*. I know…the cat’s out of the bag now!

Yep, writing about certain topics is about as exciting as watching paint dry. So, I will revise my statement to mean that yes, anyone who can write on a 7th grade level (in an engaging and flowing style) can write web content so long as they have a long attention span and the ability to see dollar signs behind their hundredth article about floor tile and all of the various aspects of floor tile.

That isn’t to say that I don’t love doing it. I thank God every day that I have this great opportunity to stay home with my son and work online. That is nothing short of amazing.

All of this rambling is a long way of saying that there is room for plenty more, but those who hate writing are just fine with us as it leaves room for those of us who love it.

I might be a little busy this week, but will still try to post as much as possible. We just closed on our house! We’ll be moving this week and settling in. It’s been a long time coming. And made possible due to my Internet Marketing efforts

My freelancing is going very well.  I’m learning so much about the different topics people ask me to write for.  It really is very interesting!  I feel like I’m going to become a more well-rounded person very quickly.

It is a bit difficult to write continuously when I have a little 3 month old.  Those times where I could be productive, I find myself playing with him, cleaning spit up off myself, or trying to calm some fussiness.

Of course, the entire point of my Project Work at Home Mom challenge is to stay home with him, and what good is that if I don’t give him my fullest attention   I love my little man more and more every day.  He is such a good baby, and I am so blessed.

Want to know something funny?  I did not tell my family about my internet marketing goals.  They know nothing of this website.  I’m not a sneaky person!  I don’t want to say I was embarrassed, but I thought they would give me the “it’s all a scam” lecture.

Well, since I started making money with freelancing I told everyone!  They were so excited and into it!!!  I even ventured so far as to tell them about my plans for affiliate marketing, VRE websites, and writing my own ebooks.  They are all so cool with it and were like, “wow!  why WOULDN’T you do that if you could.  Passive income sounds NEAT!”  This is a total shock to me!

I thought I’d have to spend ages and ages trying to convince them that I’m not off my rocker.  Hehe.

So the cat is out of the bag.  Somehow, I think I’ll even get more done now that they all know *what I’m up to*.
